Robotics and other applications of coding skills are rich opportunities for students to engage their mental practices with a variety of contexts. The MSEC offers a collection of LEGO and other robotics available for teacher checkout for a semester at a time.
Why use robotics in the classroom? Students will encounter a variety of places in their lives where robots are commonplace, including in retail, service, and healthcare sites. Several bots are available for classroom use, including bots for K-5 up through competitive bots for high school.
